Magenta Flaws - Saturation (Digital LP)

€9.99

Magenta Flaws release their second album, titled “Saturation”, produced by Cayetano, under the label of High Hop Records. Having already gained the impressions with the debut album “Corridor” (2016), which defined them as one the most dinstinctive bands with strong influences from the trip-hop scene, Magenta Flaws return with a concept album, revealing their darker side.

Through 10 new tracks, the music and the lyrics of “Saturation” follow a journey of personal introspection and social criticism. “Watershed” and “Reaper”, with guitar riffs and down tempo rhythms, induct the auditor into the drear universe of the album. “Dirty crown” and “Broken glasses”, magnetize with melodic lines and sensual vocals, while the sharpened “Religious beasts” highlights the album’s agressiveness. “Fragile”, “Mud pit” and “When we say goodbye” fill out the gloomy aesthetic of this album, ending up in the most electronic “The frame” and “Turn out but not as you turned in”, tracks dominated by an uplifting mood, in this album – statement of Magenta Flaws.
